Villa P. Green

Villa P Green is a private house which is located on a corner plot of Abidjan, Ivory coast. This 2-storey villa is designed to be backed the main road, thus creating privacy for its residents along with taking into account the wind and sunlight. On the ground floor, we have proposed a hidden entrance by using the form of the backed part of the building. We have also located open plan kitchen and a large living room to one side of entrance which can accommodate generously large gatherings for the family by glancing the outdoor pool. As client’s demand, we have placed Turkish bath and sauna to the other part of the house. On the upper floor, master bedroom and bedrooms for children are settled with a common terrace. The villa celebrates raw materials, which contribute lessening the transition between the building and the green landscape. Therefore, natural stone and raw concrete were chosen for the horizontal elements of the project, and floor to ceiling windows not to discriminate the residents from the nature outside.
